Welcome! My name is Tara Rose and I serve as an author, speaker, transformational life coach, Reiki master intuitive healer and educator, and kambo frog medicine ceremonialist. I serve as a mentor for fellow lightworkers who are ready to step into their higher calling to become healers.
I am based in the area of Phoenix, AZ, and I live in the desert off the grid in my motorhome, running on solar power. I typically travel in the summertime to get out of the heat, and you may find me in northern Arizona at high elevation or up the West Coast.
Outside of my work, I enjoy nature walks, weight training in the gym, reading fiction, and shopping with my dog, Daisy.
I was introduced to the metaphysical realm in 2012, and the story of my awakening, journey to live in nature, and shamanic initiations is recounted in my new memoir, Trust the Flow, now available in paperback, audiobook and ebook!
This is my second published book.
Before getting into the metaphysical realm, I taught herbalism in the Pacific Northwest and before that, I was a New Jersey based journalist writing for newspapers and magazines. Back then I earned a BA in Philosophy from Rutgers University and later my MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Goucher College, which opened the door to writing my first book, Dandelion Hunter. (That book was written under my birth name, which I legally changed.)

I have been working with kambo Amazonian frog medicine since 2017, first by receiving a 33-treatment initiation from a dedicated practictioner, and later finding a wonderful mentor who was trained in the Amazon jungle by indigenous healers.
